Hi all, well what a great start to the year!!

Some of you know i lost my Dad over a year ago, but him up stairs hasn't finished with my family just yet. My aunty passed two weeks ago so i've been running around making sure my uncle (my namesake) was ok, we did have to call an paramedic last week with him being a diabetic. So some jam on toast sorted him out then a trip to the hospital just to make sure. Friday last week my uncle pasted away too, cutted to say the least. So as you can imagine i keep looking behind just in case the grim reaper has his eye on me.

Just thought i'd pop on to let you know i have not gone missing and i'm not on the nut bus (yet). I did finish the King Tiger build before the new year but just havn't had the time to post it up, and by the looks of the forum i have a lot of reading to do.

Have fun, John

Sorry to hear the sad news John, but i'ts nice to know your still OK.

Ron, P.M reply sent hehe!!

Ian, yes mate still here just looking for time mate. It'll be double funeral so seeing them off together. I have been building just to take my mind off things, infact i was just telling Ron. I'll been working on the Ford Escort Mk2, so i'm back at the bench. Ha, at the time of writing my wheels & tyres have just truned up for me RC Land Rover, not bad then hehehe.

Anyway, i'll get my King Tiger posted up at the weekend. And i'll see you lot soon.

Have fun, John

John, I'm really sorry for the situation you've been put in...
In my neck of the woods we have an old saying that every bad thing comes in threes and sadly this is often the case, don't ask me why?
It seems to have just happened to you and I can only hope that our ancient sayings are true for you as well so you're safe for many years to come!

I've just entered, or my parents I should perhaps say, the age where you do have to start worrying. I live very far from them and can't go to visit them often at all - in fact it's been over two years now since I last saw them although we talk every week. I try not to worry too much though because they'll hopefully live for another 20 years but one never knows...

Modelling has helped me through a lot and it's the best form of therapy I've tried so I hope you can find some peace whilst tinkering away with plastic and paint and know you where there when it mattered.

John, sorry about that. Pleased that you're still OK though.

Pete

Our thoughts are with you John, good to hear though that you are back at the bench
