Looking good! B|

Thanks Gavin :)

Looking real good now Joe :)

Thanks Ralph :)

good to see the gear down now. This is coming along really nicely now.

Looking forward to see this finished

Me too John!

The camo' might be subtle, but I like it. It's new to me, I haven't seen that before.

Thanks Colin.

Nice work Joe, I'm sure the camo will show more when the gloss coat goes on.

I think you're right Ian, colours always darken slightly under a gloss coat.

The camo did indeed darken as expected under the gloss varnish. It's now much closer to how it should appear. One reason the contrast wasn't apparent, i think, was one shade was matt and the other satin finish.

After that dried it was decal time. Not many to apply, this being an older kit, and I left a few minor stencils off. When you consider that these decals are 33 years old (the kit is dated 1983), they were adequate.

Just a satin varnish to finish this off.

Cheers Ian. The bench has been rather busy lately, now clearing up with just the Canberra to finish off this trio. Will post the Super Etendard in completed section.
