I see! My brother in law at the time was driving a big Nissan Estate car 20+ years ago after a skinfull luckily on his own down some B-Roads in the middle of the night, misjudged a corner went up on the grass and took the back axle off on a raised manhole cover. Got home. no-one knows how and went back the next day with a mate and recovered it!
