I was so diss-hearted with the kit's fit I went out today and promptly got myselff a new tool 1/72 Airfix BF 110, just to show myselff that enen Airfix fits better than this particular Italeri LOL!

After being "told to get my rear ingear" on the SAAF forum re the Cheetah I managed to do a little work on it yesterday. T fitted the new resin Chaff/flare dispencer the the rear bottom fuse and smoothed it in.

The new Fin is also on and has been fared in.

Next a bit of scribing and after final sanding the resin cannards will go on.

I am as close to being done with this build as I can stand. It has been a long difficult learning curve for me to work with the AM resin bits.

The main colours are on now (after 3 tries!) It is the best I can do frehand in 1/72.It was an experimental sceeme the SAAF tried but never used.

Clear gloss and decals next.
