Not had any time at the bench this week at all:(. May get a few hours over the weekend but, for once, I am not worried as two weeks on Tuesday I leave work for the last time, that bench will not know what has hit it! :D

I know what you mean Graham as all I'm doing at the moment is going to work and decorating my way through the house when at home so time at the bench is very limited !

I bet your so looking forward to your retirement .

Beware of telling everybody Graham - Nature abhors a vacuum!! What I mean is that folks will do their utmost to fill your newly found free time!! I'm 2 1/2 years out, and already finding myself clawing back what I've earned. If I had my time again, id have kept it quiet, despite the amazing feeling of excitement and wanting to tell everyone:)

i wanted and planed to retire at 55 but that has come and gone , but due to a few recent health scares i may have to have another look at it , good luck for the future Graham .

You will have time to play with your new toy, did you watch the video about it?
no I didn't John but I will. Do you stock spare blades or know where they are available? :)

Have a happy retirement Graham.
I certainly will Ralph. And no, no one apart from SWMBO will be giving me jobs and they will be for both our benefits so I don't mind that :D

I do envy you, there never seems enough time to keep on top of all the projects rattling around in my own head! Look forward to seeing plenty of models on these pages

cheers John, I will have to stock up. Only have a few left :)

Well at the moment I've only got 13 more years to go, that's if the Government doesn't change the retirement age again.

Any way have great retirement Graham looking forward to all your builds

Good luck with the retirement;

The way the retirement age has been increasing recently I sometimes wonder if I will ever get there.

I am lucky in that I fall just right to be able to finish at 65. I do wonder if some of the younger generation will ever know what it is to retire. Just wish I had a pension that the youngsters are in a position to generate. Sadly a lot of them don't think it is important but there will be no state pension in years to come.

I still have 15-20 years to go, and should be OK for a pension. Although at the moment I am more concerned about the EU referendum and how that could effect things as a British citizen living and working in Belgium.

Best wishes on your retirement Graham ,i retired at 62 (had a good pension) and have had 6 years and loved every minite of it and the best of modeling is you never get bored :) . Happy modeling.

Happy retirement Graham;) I retired in 2004 and I do more work now than I ever did "on the job":D with even less time for modelling, hence my turtle pace:oops:

The wife says it will catch up to me all at once one day if I don't slow down a bit:oops: I say, who the hell wants to die a little at a time anywayo_O

Congrats....Jim:)
