Hey Dan as correctly said John the video of the wet water is perfect..but before that "vaporise" some Isopropilic Alchool on the surface that you need to fix with pva glue plus water... the results are stunning and the capillary movement of the glue is PERFECT..
Hope it helps...
By the way keep it coming... level of excitement 90000000

Hi Dan, more super work from you on this monster project. Here's a pic of my base I used for my T34, I just worked in layers for the ground cover but the bigger piles I built separately then attached them to the base.

Hi there fellas! John Greg and Mick thank you so much for the advice, seems like it will be a challenge and a learning curve but I will try to do my best! The video certainly helps and the picture of your dio as well Mick by the way the dio is look stunning Mick congratulations for that Sir ! Could you send me the completed dio picture with the tank on would love to see it! Today i will place the building in place and paint the dio edges so that will be done! Then i start to build the Kapitan saloon staff car , this will be the last vehicle for the scene and then on to the figures which will probably takes like 2 months to complete! Soon thing gets completed updates follow! Thanks for looking and thanks for all the help! Best regards Danny

Danny,
Just take your time , placing of rubble needs to be thought out, not just hurled about. When I did the Russian street scene I dropped the front of the damaged building from the top so it fell into the street, needed a little help as it was so light .

A bit dark, but you can see how much stone was lost to the rubble, some of that is a little loose. !

So nearly all the stone sets are hidden ! for the dust I used a fine tile grout, then sprayed with the glue.

Looking fwd to seeing you results.

John .

Dan it's really coming together... when you do rubbels.. go wild.... don't go to much "by the book"... let it go everywhere without to much order in it... just a kind suggestion.. :smiling::smiling::smiling::smiling::smiling:

Scottie and Greg thanks fellas! Greg you right it is unfortunately! Its an old kit and the decals whats came with it was falling into pieces after it was put in water so was no chance to put it together! I had no choice but to find one in my stass and thats the only one i found ! Anyway the scene is in the end of the war so the Russians captured it from the germans! :)
