:)Hi everyone here's my completed mustangs by airfix.3 off new tool :) . The RAF being an old tool kit.

Paints used alclads (chrome) vallejo model air and metal colors(chrome) and even humbrol acrylic which I struggled with in the past but seemed to have improved lately;).

My first try with the the vallejo metal colors (inspired by Ian papas sabre)and they were a pleasure to use IMHO

My favourite one is lollipoop. Do you have a favourite ?????

Hope you like em n thanks for looking and any comments much appreciated cheers John View attachment 240317

They all look fantastic John, it's good to see them all together. ;) :) The build thread was enjoyable to watch too :D

4 excellent Mustangs John! My favourite is CV 12, simply for the shark mouth! ;)

These are really nice, John. There are some great NMF finishes which make me keen to make a start on my own Airfix Mustang using the Vallejo metallic. You've even worked some magic on the old tool one, too.

very good all four of them and to do at once as well, great looking birds,

very well done John, ;)

Thought I was the only mustang nut seems not

Very nice choices do like the red tail 332nd

Great build and thread John I have one question which I throw open to whole community having built these fantastic models how do you stop the elements degrading them ie dust sunlight etc

You love Mustangs Son!

Lollipop is my favourite too, you can definitely see the difference in the new and old tool, so as you said in the build thread well done to Airfix.

The new Vallejo Metals review was decent work too mate so well done all round.

Regards

Phil

Superb, can't believe how a paint job changes thevlook of something.

Great work on all 4 Mustangs John I like the look of Daddy's Girl, but like you say Lollypoop just looks that little bit better some how.

Great looking quartet John. If I were to pick a favourite, it'd be the Lollipoop version too.
