Well as the deadline fast approaches I've managed to get this finished.I was going to make a base for it but as time restraints won't allow for now a crusty paving slab will have to do.As this b17 was two planes stuck together as pointed out by Joe which went on to fly another 29 missions after it had been repaired. I tried to make it look like it had been around the block a few times. So folks here she is Little Mrs Mischief. Hope you like her as much as I do thanks for looking and any remarks and comments left many thanks John.View attachment 110485

Great work John that looks awesome and the paving slabs really set it off

Not often that you see an airborne ' cut & shut '!

You've done a great job there John, lovely paintwork

As I always say "not a plane guy" but I do like this build as the B17 is one of my favorites and you have done a masterful job ;) .....Jim

Truly great job John. The variance of the NMF is perfect.

Very nice paintwork John, it's a smashing scheme isn't it? Definitely one for the list!

A real cracking looking bird

Cheers

Little Miss Mischief looks superb John. Great work mate. Memphis Belle will be joining Little Miss Mischief shortly :)

Fantastic John, this is now definitely on my list and in this scheme too, like it.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.Just like to add for any of you tempted to get the kit it went together nicely without any problems whatsoever just a minor bit of filler here and there.Once again many thanks John.

That's a lovely Aircraft you got there, they knocked 1000s out during Ww2 and not many survive today but you have created a fantastic looking "fort"

I love the wearing effect you have achieved and the concrete base ( does look realistic as it was back then

Fantastic ( I like this a lot
