discussion just dave's 1/48 Mkii Spitfire

Hi all! This is my completed 1/48 Spitfire Mkii.. 


It was a pretty basic kit to build but I wanted it mainly to have a go at airbrushing camouflage as I'd always hand painted. I must say that I'm quite pleased with how it has turned out, ever since I was a child I have never been able to make a nice looking Spitfire so I've always avoided them but this has come up OK..


The weathering isn't exactly how I wanted it and some of the decals were a pain, the small red dot on both fuselage roudels came off on my fingers while handling but that was down to me forgetting to use decal soft on them!
