First to carry on from airbrushing Kaleido. The spoons had dried over 24hrs. So did a scratch test, used a cocktail stick and really not surprised that it scratched. No big deal for me anyway.
So on to brush painting, read one of those AI reviews and it said that they brush paint like laquers, badly and only really suitable for touch ups. Bugger I thought.
So shaked the pre thinned red gloss, put a few drops into a pallet. Used a spoon and small flat brush.

Result is the left hand side. I am no great brush painter, but having tried brushing Tamiya LP and Mr Color this was a pleasant surprise, two coats and sure with more practice I could do better.
No doubt not as good as Vallejo etc but hopefully can be used for more than just touch ups, such as mr color etc.
The right is thinned with a drop of water ( don't have there thinners) terrible. One to forget.
Cleaning brush, swished in water and you could see red in the water. But also some still on the brush. Then used IPA and finally washing liquid, clean.
So for me, same as airbrushing if they hopefully bring out naval colours. I'll try a bottle and if the results are the same ill definitely move to Kaleido. Impressive paint, in MY opinion of course
Hope my rambling has been worth it
