Let's have some fun.....

Stirred on by John's excellent Oddball's Sherman, I have had a go at one of my favourite bits from Kelly's Heroes.....Could be yours too!

I made it after my dinner last night....Straight forward with two bits of polystyrene for the walls. Plywood with muck on it for the track and painted with cheap acrylics.

The 1/35 Tiger tank is from my bits box, re-painted with the correct markings and splattered with - To quote Oddball "Beautiful, pretty colours, man"

The buildings behind are some 1/72 ones I built a while back. They are actually touching the front of the tank. They look quite a bit further back in the photo, and luckily look the right perspective - better than the wallpaper that is actually behind the model!!

Here it is, just one picture of the incident......At least it's a proper Tiger, not like the lash ups in the film! Still my all time favourite film though, warts and all!

I hope you like my attempt.....

"Man, I aint tangling with no Tigers!"

Inspiring Ron, just goes top show what you can do when the spark hits you...simple, yet so effective. I love it.

Have fun, John.

Lady and gentlemen, thanks for the great comments on this bit of fun build....

Sometimes something just goes 'boing!' in my nut, and away I go, instantly.

I truly went up into my den after dinner and started this and yes, it took about 2hrs to complete, but remember it was just two sides, a base and the tank was already a Dk. green, so the mini dio. was a very simple construction...The paint was literally sloshed on....

A true 'fun build'

Cheers,

Ron

A big thumbs up Ron...For $16,000,000 I think I would have fired paint at a tiger...just the once though! o_O:D

Woof woof!

Lee :)

Nice work Ron, I'm guessing Kelly's lot weren't overly keen on the last Tiger outside the bank.
