More cleaning and maintenance work today, and look what I found ...

This is Japanese WWII fighter plane, the Ki-61 Hien. Kit is 1/48, from Hasegawa, build OOB. Except for the Japanese character word on the flaps, the rest are airbrushed, as the kit decals yellowed and was cracking. This kit was built, I think in 2010.

Comments and feedback are welcome...

fantastic camo Ryan , beautiful build , cheers tony

Nicely done Ryan. I like the mottle effect and chipping. Nice work too on the markings, you did well to paint them.

Great build, Ryan!! How did you realize the green camo-spots? With a homemade template or freehand?

:)

great build Ryan, the camo has come out really well. i real like this one just the right amount of weathering as well

top build, ;)

Many apologies Ryan, looked at this and thought I had commented. Lovely quality build and the freehand painting is sublime.
