Better you use some water instead of thinner.

You've just got to love Russian armour - so much opportunity to do some heavy weathering! :)

Great work, the whitewash is perfect & the overall look gives a nice feel of a typically functional Soviet tank!

Have to agree with Patrick this is just spot on and looks well used and also a little bit neglected ( needs to go I'm the depot for a new paint!!! Brilliant weathering

Robert

Thank you all for the lovely comment,i just post this becos i made a promise to post all the Russian armour.

Still missing in my Collection is kv-5 and s-51 arty.those beast is comming next month i hope.

Looks superb really like the white wash look and your weathering adds much more depth to your cracking kv

Amazing weathering, it looks so real, and made of steel! Someone picked up my Panzer iii the other day and commented how light it was - they expected it to be made of metal - this I took as the ultimate compliment, and I think that yours achieves this in bucket loads! At which point in your painting do you decal up? Am guessing that they were winter cameo's quickly, and over any markings, then wiped around the markings, but am keen to know! Also, with these skills, a weathering log would be of immense interest to me, and I suspect, others. Nice one!
