Latest Acquisitions (2019)

Hi this arrived late this afternoon, my Optivisor might be able to see what I'm messing up big time now.

:nerd:Knackered without mine Pete, peepers not what they use to be

Me too Pete

Cant do hardly anything without them.

I have x3.5 readers everywhere else for working on Stuff at work or anywhere else which isn't my desk.

I have sat in hospital waiting rooms scribing figures and cleaning track lines with the x3.5 readers and my mini travel tool kit.

Have fun, they are excellent

Regards

Steve H

Been trying them out, very good indeed and light on the old head so much so did realised had them in Tesco's, wondered why people where looking at me strangely :nerd::tongue-out3::upside::nerd:.
I'll get my coat.
Pete.

If only they didn't magnify my fingers as well as the kit parts :disappointed2: ...

I went to the IPMS Brampton show at St Ives today, just for a look around, but this caught my eye just inside the door:

Oh well, I can buy one can't I.
Then saw these Tamiya saws, and some 15C scalpel bladesP1150329.JPG
I've been enjoying the Airfix Warrior build, in spite of its shortcomings, so when I saw this for £7.50 I thought it might need a companionP1150331.JPG
That's a Jackal, so might be built in the Animal GB.
Then a last look around and spotted this rather strange little biplane

Cute little thing, and only £1.50!
At least I remembered to take a sandwich this time.

I was so impressed by Peter Day's ICM Delta Force Figure, that I bought this-swat.jpg

Revell reboxing of the ICM model. I won't put up the sprue shots - just a few detail picturesP1060578.JPGP1060577.JPGP1060576.JPG

The arms and legs are single piece mouldings - the parting lines are pretty fine, but run across some fine detailP1060579.JPGP1060580.JPG
I hope I don't make a hash of this!
I was lucky, as I seem to have caught an offer - £12.45 delivered - the price seems to have gone up now! :thumb2::smiling3:

I will not be beaten by a plastic track, if this is good enough for Simon then it's fine by me.

Going to try this for filling on figures, read that its good and doesn't dry out, as you can add some cellulose thinners.

Some sanding sticks.

No those are my feet they did not arrive with the other three items.

Some nice purchases mate :thumb2: I thought you had a track assembly jig already?
Good to see you’ve not thrown in the towel on tracks, hopefully the jig will make a difference for you.

Hmmm,
those Javis packs look remarkably like some of the herbal teas I once experimented with. I experienced various stomach upsets, fevers, and mild hallucinations, not to mention sleepless nights! ( I would guess that some of them are illegal now! ).
Don't get any ideas now, John

Hi this has just arrived.

Do I start it now I need the practice on this big 1/35 stuff.
Pete.

What a lovely sight, make sure the safety switch is on. Do not want those pesky minions to blow your back door off!!

Thought you might like that, you're lucky it's only minions you wait till I unleash the stampeding herd of my little ponies on the world.
As for my back door I blew that of years ago.
Pete.

Nice one Pete, will you be using it to transport logs as the box art illustrates?:rolling: Cheers, Rick H.
