Now I have my workspace operational I picked these two up at my local modelshop. So I now officially have a stash, although a very small one.

Working with the PE on the Hellcat should be interesting, it can be small enough in 1/48th.

Hi everyone as I've had no time at the bench lately I've been doing the next best thing. Building the stash;) slowly for those retirement rainy day afternoons. Hopefully soon I'll get to fumble with a few of them work and lifestyle permitting.:eek:View attachment 281497 View attachment 281498 View attachment 281499 View attachment 281500 View attachment 281501 View attachment 281502 View attachment 281503 View attachment 281504 View attachment 281505 View attachment 281506

You won the lottery or summat John? You're getting as bad as me! Mind you, that MAS and crew set are on my buy list.

I bought a dock set once, not sure if it was the Italeri or Miniart kit. I was really disappointed to find the ends weren't included so you have to scratch build them to match the faces or you'd just have a plastic tunnel on show. I wasn't prepared to do that so it went back on the bay. Do these have the same problem?

Although going against my recent selling spree of all car kits of 1/24 & 1/25 due to lack of space my youngest son has always wanted a 1:1 of these in this colour to carry his mountain bike a gear around in. He does cross country on his bike, wereas the eldest son does more downhill.

He was looking for a decent reasonaly priced second-hand one, but he bought a BMW 3 series touring wagon in the same colour!

I have just ordered what appears to be the complete 100 issues of build the titanic for what seems to be a silly price.
And nowhere in the add does it say anything about only a single issue got it off eBay so I am protected.
Free p&p and look at the price.
I still got to wait a few weeks to find out.View attachment 281546

Still no time at the bench at the moment. But I watched the yesterday channel last night. Hitler's secret weapons which I found very interesting. A day off from work today and I should have sat at my bench all day mopping up my unfinished kits. But the LMS was calling out to me and I love a good look round and a chat with the "keeper of the kits" and any plastic junkies who happen to come in. After chatting and swapping stories with a number of addicts and drinking tea for the best part of three hours I walked out with these kits. I think the programme I watched last night may have influenced some of my choices. Cracking day and met some nice folks.

That F-18 looks very nice. You don't see model shops like that so much these days, where is it? It looks like a model shop i visited in Japan....only a bit smaller.

I have the 1/32 Revell Tornado too, I'm itching to build it. Large scale jet SIG/GB anyone?

Is that last picture your stash John? :)

Mmmmmmm a very small percentage Ian. I hope we never have a fire in our house as I'd be very upset for many years. But I have an inventory and pictures of prove of ownership for insurance purposes. Also there's a number of fire extinguishers strategically placed around the house. I could go another level and introduce a sprinkler system I suppose :D:p;)

Called in the model shop for the some glue winded up with these. Still forgot my glue:oops:
