I bought a pack of those ball bearing mixers from my LMS then walked 200 yards up the road to buy a cycle helmet and they had packs of twice as much for half the price!

Just got this big Bf 109G-2 to go with my fighter ace autograph of gunther rall. It has a rather nice engine to go with it as well.

This looks good Paul, I like to make models in wood it makes such a change from the plastic kits. Have a go at it.

Latest stuff from John.  Ordered yesterday afternoon, was in my hands by 9:15 this morning, superb as always John.

Truck modelling uses obscene amounts of gloss red, matt black, semi gloss black and gloss black.  Should be enough here to do another two trucks  :D

The Ultra was, and still is a right piece of cr@p but it could be a badly made piece or I could have damaged it.  However, I have always said that when I go a bit upmarket, it would be  a H&S.

Having had the chance to use it in anger today, it was a good choice. It is obviously better made than the Ultra. The travel of the air valve is longer giving far more control and right from the off I could do extremely fine lines.

Got one at last!  :D

nice one, the engineering of this kit is pretty good, with the upper fuselage half (as you can see) being moulded in a single piece, which eliminates the sanding. However, the down side is the number of stencils :o , I know somebody who spent 3 days stencilling alone

I think the Academy kit on which it's based is pretty good already John & the added bits & pieces just make it amazing - not bad for under £35 inc postage :)

The amount of stencils on my Eduard Mig 21 kinda blew my mind, so this one will be even more so  O.o
