eBay bargain #2 arrived today, £11 for this little beauty. :)

That's a really nicely detailed kit, I built it many many years ago. The only problem I had with it was the cover that went on the top of the fuselage and engines, it took quite a lot of filing and sanding to get a good fit. I also helped make a small part of the real aircraft, we made the movement sensors that were used on the auto cannon.

On my continued theme of 'Woody's' I've won this kit, on ebay UK, and although it doesn't show any 'Wood' on it, I've found photo's of one of these at a USA car show and will copy that!

More plasticky goodness in the post today. :D

I've really been looking forward to getting this one as my Dad drove a Centurion Mk V during national service in the 1950's.

Cheers Moni. Will be my first kit with PE which should prove interesting. Saying that I'm going to build a few other kits first to get my skill & experience levels up, so that I can give this one the justice it deserves.

Eventually I'd like to get a British Centurion Mk V to build and give to my dad. :)

cool,Bob do understand were your coming from,as I always try my best with kits,as for the people who, make them for us,;)

On the subject of Spitfires, this arrived today. Box is a bit battered but the contents are fine and still sealed in their original bags. For £10.50 I'm not going to complain. :)

It'll be built but not built up, and it's not 1/144 scale it's 1/6 scale but in 1/24 scale hehehe.

Have fun, John

Now this is different! It'll look good on a roof rack or trailer somewhere in 1/52nd scale!

Both good looking kits, I don't profess to be an expert on Spitfires but I was wondering why what looks like an air intake under the fusilage is so much further forward on the Airfix kit than on the Tamiya. All you experts out there will be able put me right?
