Methinks I went a bit OTT today! Here's my haul from the Sutton Coldfield show.Gern

PS I got some stuff from John last week too, but that's for the GB so pics later.
Gern that is some haul that you have put on there I take it the stash was getting depleted so needed fast restocking:clap_1:Or was it as in my case usually, I must get that because I may never see it again .........................

The Trumpeter KV2 is a fabulous kit, it literally builds itself

The Revell Calliope is a different kettle, it builds into a decent model with some work though

On reflection, I think you're maybe right Scott, but you should have seen what I wanted but couldn't buy (1/32 Lightning, Su25, F6F, Super Sabre, Harrier, Mig 21, Phantom - and that's just the aircraft!)

Nothing to do with depletion of the stash Andy. At the glacial pace I build, I've probably still got a couple of lifetime's work already - before I add this lot. Still, you gotta have a stash doncha? How else you gonna get a choice of what to build innit?

Anyway, some of the guys at the show have travelled miles and spent many hours getting set up and deserve something for their effort. I figure it's my duty to take these things off their hands so they can show a little profit for their labours!

I didn't know the Calliope was problematical, so I'll watch out for that when (IF!) I get to it - thanks Andy. Still, if you want a reasonable assortment of 1/35 tanks, then it has to include some sort of Sherman and I hadn't got one so for just a tenner ....

It's not that bad, until you compare it to something like the KV2, which is so good. The rocket launch tubes were the worst part of my kit, very tedious to clean up

Good luck with them both

I'll be honest and say I'm not that keen on the rocket launcher anyway. If I just left it off, would I end up with a 'standard' Sherman, or would I need to do some form of conversion work?

Just picked up a Ju-88 1/32 Revell jobbie ... first "proper" attempt into larger scale aircraft.

Going to paint up as L1-OK (Sicily 1941-2) coz i like the camo effect ... and it's different !

Few little visual mods needed after a quick t'interweb browse, nowt too serious though and i'm not getting too geeky about things like wing area etc as it's just going to be "a-hangin'-in-the-spare-room" after it's finished.

oops. Didn't think i would win this at all. But i did lol

Just got this for £27 off evilbay. A 1/24 Airfix FW190 A8 :)

I just received a 1/32 Fw190D-9,the new(ish) Hasegawa kit. It was a bit of a surprise as I ordered it from a retailer who will remain anonymous at the beginning of July and thought the order had been cancelled!

Oh well,I'll have to put it in the queue now.

Cheers

Steve

looks like a good kit Steve. Gather there's a bit of an issue with the wings to fuselage fit.

Vaughan.
