This will be my Subject for the GB. Thanks Geoffers for this idea of a GB and thanks for having me.

This is the first 1/48 Tamiya Aircraft I’ve ever built looks easy and the Buffalo is one of my favorites. I’ve had this kit and decals for a while now I started to do a thread on it then I found Geoffers GB.

I couldn’t find much on 2lt Charles Kurtz just what’s in the decals. Hope you follow along should have plenty of bench time on this now that the Hobby Farm is done with the Spring chores.

You can't find much about "Charles Kurtz", because his actual name is Charles Kunz. There's some information and a photo of the Midway survivors in the Wikipedia entry for VMF-221:
