For years I’ve been fight Arthritis and after my car Accident it’s accelerated so after 19yrs of owning this beloved truck I sold it last month due to the fact I can no longer take care of it the way I want and the care she needs. I sold it to a gentleman who is going to restore her back to the original color and stripes from the factory which was Red and a White arrow stripe. She will also be in a garage safe and sound I feel I made a right decision. My dad and I restored the truck 19yrs ago when the truck was completed Dad went to one truck show with me but sadly passed away that winter. It hurt like no one could imagine he was supposed to help me show this beautiful machine we both brought back to life. I never felt the same after his passing about the truck it was so empty at truck shows and on joy rides. I know he would approve of my decision. Here’s some pics of our truck show days and our last day together.

it was a beautiful truck Lee, hopefully it will drive many more years with it's new owner :thumb2:

Hi Lee
Definitely the right thing to do. It would have upset you to know you weren't giving 'your baby' the care it deserved. I don't know how far it's gone but maybe you will still get to see it. The new owner may even email you some photos when its restored.

As the other's have said it can't have been an easy decision but it sounds like it's going to a good home.

Thanks guys. The new owner lives about 100 miles away and a super nice gentleman we text each other the other night I asks if he’s been working on it said he’s getting new tires for her and at the end of the text he put “She’s going to be OK” that was comforting
