Cracking work there Alan bad I like the use of armour and only the true critics are going to pick you up on this minor error as I never saw it.


Like the use of spare kit pieces used internally and externally.


Good use of paints and desert colours

most of the spare pieces are American and British but the Germans would have captured enemy equipment and use it especially the Afrika Korps as their supply lines were very stretched and simple things like bags and tarps were usually left behind


The official colour of the German vehicles was a dark yellow but that was only if it was available so they used any light colour they could get their hands on to paint out the standard German grey the vehicles were painted in


This one I've painted in revell Africa brown :)

Now your just going beyond the perfect here Alan!!!! , a small upgrade but for visual effect on the final scene an important one eh.

Your not wrong there mind you even now they don't get them that good , I have the new set of the machine gun team and that's better but not perfect , the 42 looks good though
 
The mg looks good to me Alan you gave it a weathered look which is important and you have scratched the paintwork where it would have been scuffed by lots of swinging from side to side in the arc of fire so I think it's good what you have done.


With the moulding techniques available to 1/35 it's not surprising that certain detail has to be simplified.( giving rise to resin kits that can be at times extortionate at best.

my daughter decided to tidy up my work area and has lost a couple of bits from the front and snapped an aerial but I have found something I can use to replace the missing pieces , I have too spare from my 221 build I will just have to trim them a bit View attachment 115368
