This one had been gradually working it's way towards the back of the cabinet - I felt that I had done an inadequate job on the face, so I decided to strip down the head and re-paint it.

I'm not sure that I've made much difference, though hopefully the shading is a bit subtler and the creases across the face better resolved.

Definitely an improvement Peter. Very impressive. The tones are alot more subtle. Back to the front of the cabinet me thinks. Thanks for sharing
