Find myself struggling to manouver and glue some of the smaller pieces into place, i.e the clear rear light covers onto the chrome housings, windscreen wipers in particular, find they just keep popping out of the tweezers, paranoid about dragging glue over my paintwork, and its starting to hinder my progress.


Was wondering what methods you chaps and chapettes use..... Hopefully theres one that will suit me.

For tiny bits ....... I tend to use CA ........ and rather than tweezers (bits tend to ping off and get eaten by carpets) ....... a thin piece of sprue od a cocktail stick with the point chopped off and a little bit of blue tack on the end.

As Peter says bluetac is the way forward

Doh!!! ..... Cheers mate, got loads of that, been using humrol cement in a squeezy tube for little bits and Mr Cement S for seams.

No worries Amos....... When I use CA I squirt a bit on some card and use the end of a cocktail stick to apply it to the part. Dip the stick in the blob on the card and apply it to the part....
