So........... No Russian Forces in Ukraine apart from those that decided to go there on their holidays and take a tank or two with them.........

This will me my modest tribute to Vladimir's attempt at "World Domination" ................

Meng 1:35 – Russian GAZ STS ‘Tiger’

Zvezda 1/35 Russian Special Forces

I've never built a MENG kit ....... But looking at it the mouldings are superb. Nothing much in the way of sink marks and the few ejector pin marks are in places that wont be seen. The "destructions" are clear and the translations are very good. Not like some where the Chinese or Japanase instructions are translated into English by a Bolivian who only has a rudimentary grasp of any language other than Spanish ..........

I was going to make a start this evening. Then number two son turned up. which sort of p1ssed on that bonfire............ Maybe tomorrow.

Peter

I'm still working on the chassis .......... There is a whole load of detail to tack care of. Fiirst problem. The two halves of the winch don't meet on one end. I'm not sure why, I think the moulding is a bit "crook", anyway, I've filled the gap, filed and sanded it and ......... I think I have it somewhere close to how it should look.

I hope to have some photos up on here tomorrow / Tuesday.

Peter

looking good nice work on the Chassis,so far always find them a bit tricky ;)
Working out what to paint and what not to paint and assembling parts from later stages making sure they aren't going to cause a problem for something else in an earlier stage ..........:rolleyes::rolleyes:.......

I would think so, as he has a few videos on you-tube in the 'warfare in scale' channel and a few of his builds also appear on the official Meng channel.
