anther great build,lov the work,

must ask,what have you used as the Camo,netting i have seen it in all your build,s and do real like it

if you have a link to were and what you got plz, ;)
 
This looks excellent I would also like to know what you made the camouflage net out of.

It's a nice KT, although the colour is a bit monotone. Kinda blends in too much for me.

Also the tarp over the mantlet - how does the gunner see the enemy!

Nice build. How about a bit of an intro. about yourself too? That would be nice. We are a friendly bunch on here.

Thanks again .Netting just some surgical gauze from any grug store soaked in water and white glue

Am not standoffish in the least.just new to all this hi-tech comp stuff.About me? former Army Ranger-Airborne-Combat Engineer-Jungle Expert back in early 70s nuff said on that .always been fascinated by military veh been modeling over 30 years Grumpa name given affectionately by grand kids though never grumpy with them,just their parents at times Ha Ha!

Model built decades ago not as knowledgeable then as am now please forgive oversite P.S. never saw many brightly colored tanks maybe because they didn't survive log.

Put simply, most King Tigers were painted in the factory with ' ambush ' camouflage. As this one has no zimmeritt, it would be in the correct timeframe for this.

Whilst not ' brightly painted ' by any means, they were certainly multi-coloured, hence the reason for my comment.

If you look closely the multi colored camo is there under netting and weathering.

Lots of detail, like here, including "messy" detail, makes a a model more realistic, and interesting to examine, in my opinion.

Thanks much.Tend to go into artist mode when building,some should go to tech manuals for historical data
