These 20 minute programmes appear on Freeview Channel 81, they pop up at odd times, and I notice that two of interest are on this week
On Tuesday 16th at 18:45 'Thunder in Waiting' - Vulcan Bombers on readiness
On Wednesday 17th at 18:30 'The Black Arrows' - 111 Squadron RAF
These are shorts that are a product of their time ( early 60's ) - cheesy commentary, almost propaganda, but colour film and good views.
One that I saw, but didn't record was 'Flight Deck' - HMS Hermes operating Scimitars & Sea Vixens.
The 'Look at Life' series covers a wide range of subjects ( a lot of which are really painful to watch, they're so bad ), but worth a look!

I recorded these and watched them last night. Really entertaining viewing compared to a lot of what gets foisted on us.

I was particularly amused at the many references to beer and cigarettes during 'down time'. :smiling:

Nice line-up of Javelins in the Black Arrows film too. And I'd never heard of the Thor missile.

I'll be looking out for more of these programmes - thanks Dave.
