A friend of mine who lives in America sent me some pictures you might be interested in.....

They were found in an attic of a deceased American war veteran. They are apparently some of the lost pictures Capa took during the Omaha Beach Landings in June 1944.

As you might know, Capa took reels of film of the landings only to have all but a few destroyed whilst they were being developed. So finding these has surprised historians, and if genuine, are a nice addition to the handful that survived.

Aw, you might have kept shtum for a while longer chaps, just so I could have had a bit of fun.......and I even fuzzied them too.....Not to worry.

We've seen lots of guys taking pics of the real thing and trying to pass them off as models, this is the first time I can remember someone doing it the other way round!

Had me too, until I checked out the sand grains. Great work Ron.
