Hi All

Were you one of the 200,000 people who attended the Lowestoft Air Show last Thursday/Friday?

I've lived in Norfolk for the last 38 years but have never gone.( wish I had)

Norwich lays on special trains for the people who flock there over the two day event. The line up this year was and as it turned out in no particular order:-

Red Arrow x9

Parachute Display The Tigers( I didn't get any photos)

BAe Hawk

BOBMF Dakota Spitfire x2( only one spitfire no Dakota. There was supposed to be a Hurricane but it never got off the ground)

The display was very good with Red Arrows going off first a very hard act to follow. It was disappointing that the BOBMF was incomplete.

Thanks for that Vaughan. Bit isolated in Jersey. Hopefully we will have a good show & weather in September for the B of B show.

This will be the first since I started modeling (not me aircraft) & will be keenly interested.

I know how difficult it is taking photos of aircraft & these look fine. Had great difficulty filming them. Just trying to locate them in the viewfinder is a feat let alone to have to steady yourself & manipulate the camera controls. What price for a golf ball camerman.

Great pics vaughn, keep meaning to get to the lowestoft air show, but don't seem to be able to make it!!!

We have the Roskilde air show this coming weekend. I just hope that the weather is with us as it has been really wet so far.

If I get there I will try and get a few pictures up on here.
