I have finally finished making the scratch made cargo pod.


I left this for months as I just could not be bothered with it or modelling but, this is going to feature in a small Sci-Fi short film done by the the local college. It isn't good enough for close-up work but it is going to be in the background floating around. They are trying real model work and CG as part of a project so should be interesting.


Anyway, here is the model, with working flashing nav/safety lights and front lights. The crane tilts back so the it can pull as well as hold stuff in the claws. I wanted that heavy industrial look, slightly battered yet strong. I think it has worked.
