Now that the Ducati NCR is finished, I've decided start up on the Regult battle pod. ;)

I'm a bit of a Macross nut and enjoyed the animated series back in the mid to late 80's, having stumbled across the kits on Hobby Link Japan, I could not resist in acquiring a couple of them! :D

This will be my first attempt at a SciFi kit in homage to the series of Macross "Robotech"!! :)

I hope you enjoy the build as much as I will?

Thanks guys & gals! Just as an upfront warning...................I'm slow.

A whole lot of procrastinating, pondering, some research ....... a bit more research, some thinking, and that is how I go along. :P

I'm envious of the likes of Monica who just steamroller their way through, so just bear with me and I promise to "bare" nothing more than a complete model in the end!

I can't remember if I have shown you any pic's of the contents of the Regults' box?o_O

The Bandai kits are a guaranty, are easy to build and all fits very well!!

You only need a good primer coat :)

Like these things though I have never done one, will be interested to see this.

Hi guys, haven't done much because of the weather (it's bloody cold in the garage) and the holidays.............. but have done some pottering around.

I decided on a street scene to show off the size of the battle pod and below is my work in progress.o_O

Any thoughts and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

The building is still very rough and I'm trying out some new stuff from the rail guys, so new experiences and methods which spells "MORE FUN"!! ;)

Well, sorta as I've got to get my head around some of the new techniques.

Had a change in mind and opted for "Metcalfe 00 self adhesive stone paving slabs"......a much better look. Anyway, as you can see I'm slowly moving along, even did some road and a "Macross Island..." advertising sign.

I took a photo with and without a flash, as they show up different levels of detail.

This little dio / vignette is moving along nicely - I've gotta get a tree some road signs, paint the road an most importantly, complete the "battle pod".
