Spotted on the back of our local septic tank emptying operative’s truck…..


The man has a great sense of humour…..the truck plates are POO 1, POO 2 etc,…..and another one has “Stool Bus“ clearly labelled on the back….

I’ve seen the sign on a few poomobiles round Dorset.
It’s nice to see humour hasn’t totally died.

He’s a nice guy as well. Four years ago, just after we moved in, we had a failure on the macerator discharge system of our downstairs loo. We phoned him to see if he could do anything. He said, “I’m sorry, no, it’s not what we do. However, I’ve got a lad going by your house in a minute so I’ll ask him to nip in and empty it out for you so it’s clean while you sort it out“. Ten minutes later they turned up, emptied the full macerator, and wouldnt take any payment.
Guess who we use to empty our cesspit every year :thumb2:

Well they are Somerset boys…….based just up the road from me. I see them all the time and thought they’d give you all a giggle. Hadn’t seen the politicians promise tag before though.

We have a similar thing down here,"Always Cleansing ltd" have a fleet of tankers all decked out with the same phrase....

..... even poo can be made fun eh?!! .
