Afternoon while I appreciate the world of You tube and digital media sometimes there is nothing better than holding a book or magazine to read.

I'm thinking of getting a subscription to a scale modelling magazine which mainly focuses on the build and backstory of military vehicles and aircraft.

Had a quick look around and there seems to a number of them. So you avid builders what would you recommend?

Have a look at Phoenix Model magazines (https://www.phoenixscalepublications.co.uk/ ) they are fairly new on the scene but cover a good range of stuff and have a great reputation with their contributors. There is at least one publication that has failed to pay its contributors and seems to rehash old material.

I have Airfix Model World. It's reasonably priced, cover all subjects although planes dominate and does NOT only have Airfix kits. It's fairly basic but is a nice read.
