discussion Magnifiers.

Guys I use a magnifier with built in day light. The light quality is excellent as is the magnifier.


My problem lies with my one eye in that my depth perception is at fault (according to my optician) Both eyes wont focus together which means when detailing I often touch the tip of the paint brush in the wrong place as I think its in the correct place, if this makes any sense. I was wondering if I should try one of those magnifiers that you wear. Does anybody use these and are they any good or just a gimmick. I've tried closing one eye but have to get so close to my magnifier that I constantly keep banging my face against it. Oh the joys of getting older

have no complaints with it, may not be as refined as the 'best one' but its at least £50.00 cheaper, fits nice and snug and screws are strong enough to hold the lens/light at any any angle. wouldnt be without it now.

I was asking my dentist this morning about his kit, looks reet fancy, and guess what? Yep,my ou guessed £3000!! The one Steve has linked too has been in my mind for a while, I just didn't believe that at that price it could be any good, after Steve's recommendation, I reckon that's worth a punt!

Alan, as Steve very similar to yours magnifier said, I also use, has led, and 4 different magnifiers increase to change easily.


It weighs next to nothing and cost 20 € ...
