I am making a scratch built oylmpic and i have bought some life boats for it but ,its old build the titanic part work mag i got them from but some time in the future i may want to increase the life boats to as she looked after the titanic sinking,and i wish to make some more using one of the origonal life boats can some recomend a way of going about it,i not shop online and my budget is a limited so the cheaper the better please all advice would be much welcomed

You can use 2 component silicone to make the moulds and then 2 component epoxy resin to make the boats.

I stock a reusable compound which is really good, Oyumaru I know you said you don't shop online so if you want some let me know I can take a cheque

Hi Peter,

I bought some of this off John and have had a go, you can get some great results and some really fine details with it, plus, once you have finished, you can just pop it back into some hot water and use it to make a new mould...

Thank's for your help unfortunatly my bank won't allow a cheque and as it will be only a small mould about 7cm long by 3cm wide so i was hoping to find out if there are any different way of making a mould as i am on a very limited budget but thank's again for your help.
