Hi, I recently attended the annual hobby world modelling event MALCOM held on Penang Island. This is the third time it's being packed in the Cititel ballrooms and conference rooms. At certain points participants and attendees were not only rubbing shoulders...we had to keep our butts to ourselves, such was the scale of the crowd that I heard a new venue may need to be found for the next show.

Vendors lined both sides of the hall. Between were club displays. The foyer wascrowded with Cosplay and Reenactors. Two competition rooms were next door.

Hawker food in Penang is the best...you'll recognise some faces here...Adam Wilder, Andrew Cairns whose just across from me, Ruben is standing just behind me, Calvin Tan and Jaume Ortiz.

Jon, thanks. Yes it was entered 40% finished that is after looking at the other figures and the amount of layers and detail put in...I didn't stand a chance. :smiling6:
Greg, thank you. I would have asked him about it if I'd known.
Peter, this time around it was serious business...you'll see from the figures I'll be posting.
Andy, too much to see...I got a silver...didn't have enough time to detail further. Jaume and Calvin had some nice things to say about it.

Hi Greg, thanks. Yes many talented painters that's why my PARA didn't make the cut. Seriously I should have put more concentration on a single entry as my entries were basically about 85% done. The last bit of tones and lighting layers weren't added...my bad.
