Its very interesting i have been using an automatic Nikon D-200 camera, that i purchased from an online shop, result is excellent, but someone advised me to check manual one, and it would return you better result than automatic, i am confused, is it true?? I shot nature… yea I love cameras for there is a very famous notion about: The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.( Dorothea Lange )

Not being familiar with this particular camera but surely it has both manual and automatic modes in the one camera?

All the digital ones I have had in the past have worked this way.

The quality will, as always, depend on your picture taking skills as, when in manual mode, you are taking the decisions away from the camera.

I have to say digital cameras that i have had in the past have more detail in them and pus you can see what you are taking on them. (well on most digital cameras anyway) i have had experience with both types and have enjoyed digital photos the best.

i think he means somebodies advised him to get a 35mm?

If so...noooooooooooooo a good digital camera will be much better these days! 35mm is a dying art!

they will usualy have an auto mode aswell though

manual will allow you to set the exposure and all that jazz where as auto well it does it for you
