It was built for the Britmodeller Matchbox 50th Anniversary Group Build. As a bit of fun, I didn't use any paint, filler, plastic card or aftermarket bits so that it could be built as Matchbox intended - at least like the illustration on the side of the box:

I did a similar thing last year, only mine was the Matchbox Heinkel He 111! It's a bit of a release not to worry about paint, aftermarket parts and filler! ( The Heinkel is now my paint test bed! )

Great stuff. I actually have that in the stash…..it’s been there since it was first released around fifty years ago :flushed: I found it when I was going through old boxes that had been from loft to loft after I left home. I must have bought it around the time I first discovered other past times, so it never got built……not sure it’s even been opened…..
