Matho Models 1.5mm White Number Decals Type 1 80049
Matho Models 80049 is an A6 sheet filled with small white number waterslide decals, with each digit measuring 1.5mm in height. Suitable for all scales, the sheet provides finely printed white digits for adding numbers to a wide variety of scale modelling projects.
The decals feature separated film, allowing each individual number to come away separately without the need to cut precisely to its edges. Their ultra-thin construction allows the decals to adapt well to different surfaces, while the semi-matte finish provides a useful base for subsequent finishing and weathering.
The complete A6 sheet is filled with white digits measuring 1.5mm high. High-definition printing produces crisp results even across the smallest details, while the colours are accurate and colourfast. The decals are suitable for all scales, making the same sheet useful across a variety of scale modelling applications.
Part of the Matho Models range, these waterslide decals combine fine printing with separated carrier film and an ultra-thin format for detailed number applications.
Cut out the required decal with a sharp knife, then place it in water for approximately 5 to 10 seconds to loosen it from the carrier paper. Gently slide the decal into position using tweezers. Decal softener, such as Micro Set and Sol, can be used for better adhesion, particularly when applying the numbers to non-flat surfaces.
Once positioned, use tissue paper with light pressure to remove excess water or decal softener and fix the decal into place. Varnish can then be airbrushed over the decal for protection. A semi-matte or matte varnish can be used to reduce glare if required.
The usual weathering process can then be applied to blend the numbers into the finished design. With 1.5mm white digits, separated film, high-definition printing, a semi-matte finish and ultra-thin construction, Matho Models 80049 provides a versatile waterslide number decal sheet for modelling projects across all scales.
