Dear mates I just started this new project for a Phantom in 1/144.

The kit is quite old with positive panel lines but better fit than the Viggen.

First step is to rescribe panel lines, cut the flaps and open the cockpit.

Then we move to the cockpit

I'm sure I built that kit back in the 70s. Yours is looking much better than mine did :) Great work so far!

What are your plans for it?Sent from me to you
I will build this OOB, that will be the "Positive thinker" flown by Col. John Nelson, CO of 388th TFW in Karat, 1969. Unfortunately kit's decals are not so good. :( :( :(

I will never believe my build can look better than yours, even if from the 70's.

Great start Francesco the tub detail you've added really stands out. I did two 1/144 Phantoms for the Vietnam SIG ( Revell )

Thank you mates, your feedback help me to improve.

My apologies for the dark pictures: I take and post them from my phone where they look ok but they appear dark on my PC.

I don't know Francesco they look fine on my screen

That's looking great Francesco

But I would wait until you get the cockpit finished and canopy on before you paint the top or you will ruin the paint job that looks so good

( I hope that helps Francesco )
