I did a bit more work on the Me262, first I sprayed on a gloss coat...

Then I added the decals with Micro Set & Sol, here's an image of the decal sheet...
As you can see the swastikas are included too, two are solid black and two have a white outline.
I sprayed the number "4" because the "V355" was specifically for the "/U5" version.
The serial number for the tail was cut too ("2355'11" instead of "112355")...


Here all decals are applied and a 2nd gloss coat was added...


The other parts are now painted too...


Then I added a panel-line-wash (Tamiya).
And today I sprayed an Ultra matt coat (Lucky varnish).




Next I will add the remaining parts and some subtle weathering...

Sorry to be in so late. I seem to have come onboard near the end of this build but enjoyed catching up.
Looks a nice kit. You haven't mentioned any fit issues. Lovely precise paint on the instrument panel. Great looking paint job, camo looks spot on. Decals have gone on nicely. Fingers crossed there is no paint creep under the cockpit masking. Always worries me when I unmask a cockpit but you're more experienced than me so all will be fine :thumb2:

... You haven't mentioned any fit issues .... Fingers crossed there is no paint creep under the cockpit masking. Always worries me when I unmask a cockpit but you're more experienced than me so all will be fine :thumb2:

Welcome aboard Jim,
Yes the kit had no fitting issues worth mentioning, a little bit of scraping here and there but it's a good kit indeed.
Unmasking always worries me too , you never know so fingers crossed...

Well, I finished this model today :thumb2:

I made some break-lines from electric-wire, these were painted black ...


Then I added the antenna wires, this is a very thin sewing thread from the local warehouse, fixed with superglue ...


I painted some chipping here and there.
Something I didn't realize is how big the Me262 is compared to other single seat aircraft, like the Me109 for example ...


And here is the finished Me262 ...
