I've been staring at this shot, in particular...

There is so much detail, and little narrative traces of a greater horror and, of course, chaos. The quality of your painting is all in this shot, not to mention your powers of observation. Unbelievable! I've got a few "Military Illustrated Modeller" magazines here, that often feature gold medal winning dioramas, and one cannot deny that they demonstrate extraordinary skills, but, and it's a big but, they are caricatures, they show nothing, not one iota of the human story. I know that this is a personal and subjective thing, but I agree with Peter, your dioramas are the business!

Thanks so much John and Robert, I am indeed humbled, I know this thread is a bit long in the tooth, nice to know folks are looking back in the archives as I often do....some great stuff back there and always
