Evening all,

I'm up to about 80 % movement with my back now and im up the loft ladder , so i had a chance to cogitate.

Decided to go with the 6x4 layout and do the best i can ,as they say " any layout is better then no layout "

WELL SIR i know how you feel regards back trouble as ive had mine for about 40 yrs an it will ease off but never get better an yes to pain is terrible you have my symperthies but back to the railway i liked it how you had it at the start of this blog as i also had a big layout in my top room which was a room 20 ft sqaure an i had about 400 ft of track but i made a classic mistake by buyin an spending a hell of a lot of money on hornbys zero 1 computer power system an mico micmic signal box which both units dint work very well an the dust build up on the tracks made the trains very jerky an in the end i sold it all to a colletor but unknown to me he was a dealer as i see him selling all my stuff at a model railway show but he told me he wanted it for his layout so i let him have it a bit cheaper but well live an learn dont we but if you can carry on with your layout as i love model railways i'll be lookin in
