As I’m still not sure how long I have my desk for this will be straight obb. My first ever Stug so as long as it basically resembles the box pic I shall be happy.

Hi Mick. Get in there quick while you can. Should go together well. Looking forward to watching your progress

It's ok bob. we'll go back to loving Tiger II's and Panthers after the GB lol

The old inaccurate Tamiya kit re-boxed - will you be correcting it or just OOB Mick?

Box says 167, instructions say 163 as Tamiya and only 20mm !

No time I’m afraid Simon so if it’s Stug shaped when I’m done it will do for me

Fair enough

I spent ages rebuilding one - chopped in half vertically and horizontally, moved the bogies, thickened the thin wheels etc etc, then went and dropped a helping hands support thingy on it

Didn’t do it a lot of good

Time for the STUG purists to look away. Build nearly finished, vague instructions and locations for some parts but its definitely stug shaped. Just got to finish the side panels, join the two halves together and box in the big holes underneath then splash some paint on it. Now I've done this one it has inspired me to have a go at a better one.

I get the strong impression you fixed the whole of the commander’s hatch upside down … The periscopes stick up very far, don’t have the flat ring over them and face inward at that :)

I did say the instructions were vague, should come off easy enough
