discussion Mil Mi-24 Hind - Polish Air Force paint scheme??

Hi everyone!

I'm a new modeller, and I need help.

Well, this is my second model and because my first was a jet plane(BAe Hawk T1).. I decided this one will be be a heli. I had a look around the web before I settled on the Mil Mi-24 Hind. I found a good kit(after a lot of looking around) and because I am Polish myself(an immigrant in UK) I decided to do the Polish Air Force's Hind. I bought a set of decals, from HI decal.

Now the only problem is.. paint.. what paint colours should I use? I want a rather authentic looking heli here and I spent a long long time finding pics, matching up paints etc.

But still I am stuck. I have no experience in this sort of stuff and want to ask the people here...

Also just realised.. I wasn't looking for this forum when I got here now.. I was looking for a pic of a hind to show my sister to google images.. wow that's quick to go high in the ranking..
