Hi folks here we have the beginnings of a Diorama.

I really liked the look of this little French cafe so I guess it'll have to be based somewhere in France but what part?

The building will be completed first vehicles and figures will be added later.

I am open to any suggestions help or advice on the location of the cafe and contents of vehicles and figures. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks John

More later......................................... :)

Nice start John, looking forward to following this build mate ;)

I am quite fond of these MiniArt buildings. Not done this one so really pleased to see it being built.

real nice John ,do like the look of this one,and plus like the posters you get as well,

I have done a few miniart ones,

keep your off cuts of plastic to use when putting both half's of the walls together,

they can be a little tricky ,the first time doing, just take your time, and look ,think, before

gluing, have a look on there site page has some very good tips fr making them, ;)

will look real forward to seeing the progress on this one,

maybe some were close to the seaside,or a village inland more,

only ever done one miniart building, thoroughly enjoyed it even though my skills were lacking to do it justice

look forward to seeing you progress with this

Hi John

I built the 1/35 mini art French farmyard kit some time back.

Great kits I think but not the easiest to put together.

I will be watching this one all the way.

Hi everyone a small update. Roughly put together as a dry fit before glueing and if I'm honest for the money I payed £17 I'm not to impressed with the fit and quality it could and should be better at this price. But I feel with some TLC and time something decent might come from it  Hopefully! But for now I'll not be recommending it.

Onward and upward :)

Thanks for looking in cheers John

Looking good John, I've put a few of these together, and the fit is an issue, but once you get over this, they do look the part and add something to any diorama/scene.

Looking forward to seeing more of your build and how it turns out mate.

I,m liking this one a lot ,John,I know there a pain in the butt with fit,:rolleyes:

but they do look good I thing and your doing a great job so far, ;)

MiniArt have released a video showing the full build and paint of this, 17 minutes long and well worth a look

Cheers everyone for the comments. Thanks for the link Graham and I already had this book marked from you tube as I came across it the other week while surfing the internet . :) It was the video that gave me the inspiration to build the French Cafe and I'll be doing my best to replicate it.

Many thanks for help advice and guidance more later.........................

"Monkey see Monkey do" :) :):Do_O.

Cheers John

Looks good to me. These things do take some work but once you have done a few, they are not a problem to build, just need making not just putting together.
