Just saw this on my local news programme - Tyne tees.

BBC News - Airfix model collection could fetch £6,000 in auction

I found the auctioneers, if you go to the catalogue for 18th july they're all there.

A very impressive listing. I see that "Airfix" is being used in the generic form for plastic model kits. There are All makes and scales. Some of which would be well worth bidding on.

I'm glad for the buyers that the collection has been divided up into bite size chunks and not one huge lot. Gives a lot of people a good chance of getting hold of some.

Shame I have no chance of getting there.
