Well Ron I went and I took these two View attachment 82874

And I bottled it no one asked to so they stayed in the car , but I'm going again and I'll show them something then
They seemed like people off here and model for the enjoyment of it I was made very welcome and no one left me out of the conversations so I feel more relaxed about showing them off :)

I don't belong to any model club, but the whole point of a club to me, is to share ideas, common interests, and to socialise with other like-minded people. Just be yourself and enjoy the meeting Alan. If they are good people then you will be fine. If not then you don't have to go back, it's not a conscription :)
Dont forget Joe , yourself and Ron ARE members of a club , the best one -here!

This is true Tony. Well said actually, I hadn't thought of the forum like that.

I had....All hail S.M.!

But remember mucker, there's a difference between taking flak, cyber wise (Not that we have any of that on here) and one the other hand , standing with some modellers on the receiving end and not being able to pull out the plug!!!

So I would think this 'Live' club lark could still be a nerve racking experience....First time.

Yes Ron it was but to be fair they did make we feel welcome and never left me out of a conversation so it made me relax , I gave one of them a lift home after and told him I had those in the boot and he said show them next week just bring them in for us to see and at the end of the day if your happy with them that's a that matters.

Thing is I think I'm one of the only ones who does a mixture of builds I got the impression they only stic to one type so I'm sure it won't be too bad on me as I can get an interest from most of them because I build what they do although they make my stuff look a a five year old was let loose in paint factory lol

That's a good start Alan.....They sound a good bunch of blokes and you have the first visit under your belt!

That's interesting you writing the individual modellers seem to build just one type of model, so that puts you in good stead, being able to 'Have a go at anything' and I'm sure the members will appreciate that...I certainly do.

So here's to the next monthly meeting and a full report please......
