Me and the wife is going to Lincoln tomorrow to see our daughter at university but before we go i'd like to know is there any model shops? I can't seem to find any so a street name would be nice too, but please don't tell the wife, she think we're going for a walk and a bit of shopping.

Have fun, John

B & H Models, Your Online Hobby Store

Beecroft's Toys Ltd. supply toys, scale models, agricultural and construction models.

There's a tiny little shop on Clasketgate just opposite Wingads Suit hire. It's just off the pedestrianised street at the road crossing. Nicely positioned between the university campus and the obligatory visit to Lincoln cathedral. It's a few years since I lived there, and it looks a bit shut on Google maps. I think it is the B & H Models mentioned by Flounder_al. If it's raining, take a "country drive" up to RAF Waddington. They have a Vulcan on the roadside at the viewing area.

Have fun

Thanks for the quick reply Allyne, i've been in B&H Models. The only problem is i didn't know it was a big shop until i seen the website, i thought it was small and all they did was model railways. How wrong was i!! And it's just around the corner.

Thanks again, John

Thanks Tony, i think it is the one mate. I'm only taking a bit of money with me because 1) i'll buy everything and 2) if the wife see the money we'll come back with new curtains.

Have fun, John

Just got back from Lincoln, if anyone is there go to B & H Models. I was like a kid in a sweet shop, the shopkeepers are some of the nicest people you could meet. They'll go out of they're way to help you, thats why i found some figures that look just right to go with the Centurion i have in my stash. I only took £60 will me but i spent the lot in just one shop. When i went in the first time i thought it was just model railways, but go down downstairs and it's floor to ceiling models of all shapes and sizes. Even the wife enjoyed going in too as she found the Spitfire for the GB none GB.

Just a few thing i got.

These will go with the Centurion, replace the stretcher with a box
