discussion Modelzone @ WH Smiths....

Hi all.

I picked up my copy of Scale Aircraft Modelling today, and in it is an advert saying that Modelzone is now open in selected W H Smith stores. They are -

Birmingham, Cardiff, Croydon, Gateshead Metro, Glasgow Sauchiehall (?), Kingston, London White City, Manchester Arndale, Meadowhall & Reading.

It doesn't mention what they're stocking, but there is a 20% off voucher included (which I may have been tempted to use if one was within range.....).

Might be worth checking other publications?

Nice one my daughter lives in brum so there's no excuse to ask me what I want for birthdays Xmas and Father's Day

I live in Brum, but never went to Modelzone so you can blame me for the closure

I might stick my head in to Smiths to see what going on.

I popped into the Reading branch of Smiths and a had a look at ModelZone, erm a small scale version but great for picking up odds and sods. Better than nothing though.
