Hi , I'm looking at getting into painting realistic , modern day military dioramas and was wondering if someone could give me some info on companys that produce high quality models.

Im looking for scale models from the iraq , afghan war. Troops , vehicles etc but cant seem to find what im looking for on google.

Coming from a warhammer 40k background im looking for sizes around the 35mm mark or a little bigger (for troops) not sure what scale that would be. Maybe 1:32 or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated , thanks.

hi mate... try looking at acurate armour for figures.....

Military Models and 1/35 Scale Models by Accurate Armour

in my experiance 1.72 scale figures are a swine to work with.....you'd probably be better settling for 1.35 scale...(as most military models are in this scale )... they are a lot 'cleaner'...thus being easier to paint.
